the room was spacious yet cozy, with comfortable linens and a walk-in shower that was simply awesome. the Bothy had a lovely kitchen area with a good selection of tea and a well-supplied fridge. the little touches, like the whiskey for two and the fenced area by the door for privacy, made it feel like a home away from home.
That the microwave was a bit difficult for me to use, but the hob provided an excellent alternative.

The nearest airport, RAF Lossiemouth, is just a hop, skip, and a jump away. I also loved exploring the Cardhu Whisky Distillery and the stunning Elgin Cathedral, which were conveniently close. Great location!
Oh, how I loved struggling to figure out the light switch and squeeze my tall self into the microwave. Such great challenges for a posh lady like me!

We had a fantastic time at The Bothy, gifting it to my brother and his wife for their birthday trip to the nearby MacAllan Distillery. The warm welcome, well-equipped facilities, and cozy wood burner made our stay truly enjoyable. It was private, quiet, and the little torch came in handy during our walks into town. The quirky and DIY-inspired decor added to the charm, and the location was perfect for exploring the Speyside Way and nearby distilleries. Can't wait to return for a whisky break!
Would definitely recommend this hotel.
